PRESIDENT PAUL BROWN The presldent of a class must be humorous efficlent and above all popular Paul Brown Presldent of the Class of 1949 fulfills all these qualtficauons Monxtor Supervlsor Preceptor of De Molay and a past president of Pht Delta Sigma Fraternity are some of the responsible posttlons he has held L1v1ng ln thxs northern section of the country Paul has naturally taken to skt mg He enjoys thls xmmensely and spends a great deal of tlme wlth thts healthful w1nter sport Although he IS undecxded as to what occupatton he plans to follow Paul hopes to enter Prmceton Umversxty tn the fall VIEE PRESIDENT ANN ALLEN Ann Allen has a deserved dlstlnctxon m bemg the V1ce Presx dent of the Class of 49 She lS the first gxrl to receive that honor xn several years Presxdent of Spamsh Club and a very active member of Punchlnello Players are only two of her many schol astlc ZCIIVIIICS After school she takes over the role as Presxdent of her Church Fellowshlp Vxce President of Inter Church Ann has conslderable dramatxc talent and frequently pleases audxences wtth readmgs In September she plans to attend North western Unxverslty to study dramatlcs EQ S E E H E SHEILA MCGINTY Attractlve gay and humorous IS our popular Secretary Outslde her regular currtculum Shenla most enjoys smgmg ln the A Cappella Choir Belng an ardent sports fan she IS always on hand at basketball games to root for the Yellow and Whxte Base ball both scholastxc and professlonal also rates hlgh wlth her Besxdes Shenla IS kept busy as V1ce Presxdent of Beta Tau Soclety and a member ofjunlor B Sharp Followmg graduation she hopes to attend Mount Saint Agnes College 1n Balttmore where she w1ll study to become a medlcal secretary Her perseverance and frxendly manner pave the road to her success TREASURER DAVID LHART David Ehart recelves the honor of the 1949 Treasurer wlth hearty congratulations Durxng his stay at the Academy Dave has earned the respect and frnendshxp of h1s classmates and teachers ahke A Monitor Supervnsor presldent of Upson English and also of the school s largest club the Soctal Sclence are but a few of the many honors whlch have rested lxghtly on hls broad shoulders Because of hxs latter office he was prlvxleged to attend the Herald Tribune Youth Forum 1n New York Cnty Other ac tlvmes ln which he has participated are umor Rotarlan and Preceptor of DeMolay Some day 1n the uture Dave hopes to emerge a lawyer following studxes at Hamilton College and law school. 14 Council, and a member of Sub Deb Sorority and junior B Sharp.
