Nadine Cox Forestry Queen Conserva tion Week The huge footprints on campus of the foresters’ legendary hero, Paul Bunvon, reminded Aggies of Conservation Week, sponsored by the College of Natural Resources. Varied activities highlighting the week were: axe throwing, pulpwood throwing, log bucking, canoe races, and raft polo. An awards banquet concluded the week-long schedule of events. Coeds also axed the contests. The Engineers and Foresters matc hed skills at log sawing.

With students from forty-five countries, the world is an important place for US U. In terna tional Days International Days, headed by Jim Hanley, was an extreme success. Speakers from the Soviet Union, the Republic of China, and from Berkeley discussed U.S. policy in Vietnam and world affairs. The International games featured outstanding athletes from all Utah universities and Gold Medal winner Parry O’Brien. A dinner-dance featuring foods from all major countries climaxed the week’s activities for USU’s 565 foreign students.
