USU Extension ofiices are found in twenty-seven Utah Counties. They are directed from the main office in the Agricultural Science Building on campus, and through district ofhces in Richfield, Provo, Salt Lake City and Logan.

The College of Education seeks to prepare educators who are highly qualified in these tasks - teaching the best that is known and the discovery or development of the new knowledge to teach. Civilization is possible only because, through teaching and learning, the achievements of one generation can be transmitted to the next. Furthermore, the inquiring, cre- ative man enables each new generation to move ahead. ln both of these processes the teacher is of primary impor- tance. Dean John C.
