m? 3 }F CAMPUS The USU campus has been called a number of things by a number of people. But even its' ’'opponents'' haven't been heard to detract from the beauty of the landscape, and the startling contrast between old and new buildings, a sign of a growing university. Nostalgic to alumni are old main, tradition reeking from its ancient halls and the quad, the lush green plot of grass intersected by sidewalks where so many students have trod enroute to class, rested on its soft grass, or played in intramural sports. To the east and northeast, new buildings are on their way up. To the west is a growing greek row. To the north is Romney Stadium and south the quad where the campus ends, high above Logan. Buildings are named in honor of men and women distinguished in USU history such as Widtsoe, Lund, Greaves, Moen, Richards, Reeder, Bullen, Nelson, Romney, Peterson and others. No, no one can detract from USU's beauty, quality, growth. This is it..the old and the new. 5

H REUBEN REYNOLDS For the past fourteen years the Buzzer has featured the photographic talents of H. Reuben Reynolds. The amount of time and effort this man has put into each of the last fourteen editions has been unknown to all but the staff. As both an instructor and a professional, Harry is a perfectionist. This is exemplified in the full color photo seen on the facing page. Harry is not with us this year but made sure that we students of Utah State would have at least one photo of old main in keeping with tradition. Thank you H. Reuben Reynolds. 7
