GREETINGS FROM PRESIDENT HARRIS While the Buzzer is not a large volume if judged merely by size and weight, it is, in reality, a very important book for any student in attendance at Utah State Agricultural College during the period represented by its pictures and written material. I have had this fact brought forcibly to mind when I have seen copies of the Buzzer in various parts of this country and in foreign lands where former students have taken it home with them. I have sat for hours with former Aggies looking over the Buzzer and recalling experiences and personalities at the good old school. These reminiscences are very precious in future years. I should, therefore, like to emphasize the fact that every student who cherishes his Buzzer and plans to keep it with him during future years will be amply rewarded for any effort he puts forth to preserve this worthwhile record of college days. As time passes the memory of individuals may become somewhat dimmed, but with the opportunity to see a photograph in the Buzzer these memories and experiences are recalled with pleasant vividness. The number of years spent in college are few in comparison with the total span of life, yet these few college years are unusually important from the fact that the friendships made and the experiences gained are likely to endure throughout life. At no other time is there an opportunity to make so many fine friends and to secure so much useful information. The Buzzer is the best ever-present reminder of these friends and the scenes that have meant so much during college years. It is more than just a record of this year at college; it may continue throughout life to be a stimulator to reach for the better things represented by the culture, the learning, and the associations, which are characteristic of a college education. It has been a great pleasure to be associated with the student body during the school year which is summarized in this issue of the Buzzer.
