Admiring the stately trees and quaint path winding up the grassy hill, I walked along toward school. I feel sort of close to this part of the campus because this was the very hill on which I learned to ski.. tried to ski, that is. During those classes, everyone seemed to be enjoying himself, as far as I could tell from where I was wrapped around a tree at the bottom of the hill. I also thought of the times I had missed the bus and had to walk home alone at night. Then the friendly hill turned into a monster trying to smother me with darkness.

Never having had the opportunity to take a class in the Plant Industry Building, I have to slight it a little. I do know that they have an excellent Herbarium there . . . but who knows what a Herbarium is I have never lived in the Rural Arts Building, but I know that the occupants have “plenty” fun there. Although the quarters aren't the most luxurious or private in the world, they tend to make “socializing” less of a strain. Tummy” aches in this dorm are quite abundant because of the apples growing in profusion in the back yard. 16

As I approached Widtsoe Hall, I couldn't help notice the students loitering on the steps waiting for the bell. This building seems to be quite popular with men. Most girls get D's in chem and become discouraged. (Voice of Experience.) The Smart Gym is a wonderful place. It can be described as a torture chamber where the victim has fun in spite of himself. I really enjoyed exercising until I thought I were dead, tap dancing with the grace of an elephant, and running like hell around the gym for no reason at all. I'll never forget the Smart Gym for the entertaining Open Houses held there.
