Womens' Residence Hall, nee campus dorm, brought back nostalgic memories of my most tender year. 1 learned numerous things about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness in that well-packed institution of Freshman femininity. There was the reception room always filled with would-be vocalists and male seniors. There was the sun porch which was unavailable for sun-bathing There were the windows littered with freshly-laundered socks and unmentionables. There was the private frontal vestibule where goodnight kisses were performed enmass. There were plenty of gripes, but I really loved every minute of dorm life

The library brought back memories of a monetary nature. I do believe that by rights. I own about five square feet of the building via fines I have paid on overdue books. Stepping into the reading room, I recalled: staring at the collegiate boys, as a freshman; talking sorority, as a sophomore; talking about and talking to men, as a junior; and studying like hell, as a senior. The Moor Children's Library, which boasts a collection of records out of this world, was always a constant source of entertainment. Oh, yes . . . classrooms . . . but we don't talk about that. 12

As I gazed at the Veterinary Science Building, I had to admit that my knowledge of this field was limited to the activity of enjoying a good beefsteak. Realizing the importance of healthy animals, I was proud and happy to find that our campus offered such an interesting and helpful line of education. As I meandered towards the barns, the nickname 'Cow College'' became a reality. A friend of mine whose father was in the cattle business told me once as I wrinkled up my nose, “that smell is sending me through college. The barns are picturesque, anyway, as well as being a necessity on an Aggie campus. Besides that, these buildings house some of the finest animals obtainable, tis said. 14
