Standing on the brink of college hill, I gazed down at friendly little Logan-town, which looked like a minute city of toy houses Jutting out of the mist covering the metropolis was the L.D.S Temple. The silhouette was beautiful in its entirety—a masterpiece of architecture and construction and an inspiration in the ideals for which it stands. Walking by the Engineering Building, where the great bridges of tomorrow are being planned. 1 could think only of the time I had been thrown flat on my face while crossing the quad because I hadn't seen the lines these students were using to survey the area 10

Walking over to the ampitheater, I sat down on one of the top benches and recalled the fun-filled A Day programs I had witnessed there, and the free egg shampoos I had received. Greek Swing Sings, when the weather permitted, were always enjoyed in this spot, with Mother Nature in charge of the scenery. During a free hour, a beautiful and quiet place to sit and study or talk or giggle or merely look at the twirling colored leaves at autumn, the white majestic mantle settling over the landscape at winter, and the green carpet emerging in the spring for summer to use. 9

Walking into the zootily-constructed Commons building, I was greeted by the tantalizing cafeteria aroma. I walked past the student body office, where I had spent many hours discussing school policy. Then dropped in the Student Life, Buzzer, and Scribble offices, intriguing rendezvous for journalism enthusiasts. Passing through the lavish women's lounge and out onto the terrace. I caught glimpses of Home Economics majors slaving away on the upper story. This building recalled many pleasant hours. 11
