FOREWORD L, hb lh q The 1939 Buzzer has been published with Athe sincere desire of presenting to the students, eWumni, faculty, and other friends of the College I Ibjkithful, accurate, permanent picture of campus life and activities. Our envisioned aim has been that of portraying for future enjoyment those memorable events which have affected your college career. We hope that we have been able to recapture, between the covers of this book, something of the joys, desires, trials, and achievements of College Life. From unimportance on the campi of our early collegiate institutions campus activities have evolved into a very potent assisting force in developing the rotundity which our present day world requires of the modern graduate. It was with cognizance of this fact that this Buzzer appropriated the general theme of Campus Life. Although this is not a book for the members of the graduating class alone we hope that it may hold particular significance for them and enable them to relive, in retrospect, the halcyon days spent on the Utah State Campus. It will, we trust, always hold a place of its own on their book-shelves and in their hearts.
