 9 b Our (President A twenty-four hour a day man. never off duty whether chairman of a meeting or a guest al a party al home or at the office—Klmer (i. Peterson. president of Utah State, handies an incessant position with the ability of an F. I). H. Ilis wife. Phoebe, with her keen interest in Utah State affairs. is always sponsoring socials to promote further acquaintances with current problems of Aggie students. Such close inspection naturally results in knowing these two rather intimately. We know, for instance, that he must often rise at four in the morning, in order to keep up with all the intricate demands of his position. Wc know. too. that he often gives a lift to a tired girl or boy tramping up college hill. Kvery type of problem—from large administrative issues to petty individual difficulties—claims his attention. Ilis most valued helper is his wife. Her unfailing sympathy with students and faculty has made her a real friend. Ilis sparkling sense of humor and his kindly dignity coupled with her gracious charm and warm hospitality form the pattern for all wortli-w Idle Aggie endeavors. 25
