As we walk down the aisle on graduation day and step forward to receive our diplomas, our feet are rapidly approaching a bend in the road. Back in 1950 we rounded another curve. Those four intervening years have piled up hosts of memories: sacred ones - gay ones. In our freshman year we were the lowliest of the lowly, bur the frosh football team went un- beaten and unscored upon. By the fall of '51, we were old pros, gazing unsympathetically on the faltering frosh. The sophomore year held its pleasures along with the now familiar routine. We became a full-fledged member of the varsity team, and that winter che Snow Ball was held. 4 junior year found us sure of our footing. In- stead of creeping cautiously around corners, we stepped forth boldly. Daily Mass was introduced. We ordered graduation rings and attended our first prom. In sports, we tied East for the foot- ball championship. Now we have come to the magical and long- awaited senior year. Witlm each passing month we advance further along the road. A new and broader bend looms near.

3 Sally Sattler, Carl Kish, -lack Kollar and Joan Mahan plan the senior activity schedule. Stepping up in their roles as leaders of the class, the senior officers worked energetically in activities and organizations. President Carl Kish excelled as an all-'round sports star and as a leader in the Catholic Exponent campaign. Another Catholic Action Worker was Sally Sattler, vice-president. Sally divided her extra-curricular time between Altar committee and Glee club activities. Jack Kollar, treasurer, also rose high as an athlete. His flashing feet starred in track, basketball, and football for his entire four years. In Campus club activities, his brawn was put to a very practical use. Secretary Joan Mahan, has served her class as an officer for two years and has been a devoted Altar committee worker and Mission club member. Gm feet have carried us I4
