i His Excellency The Must Reverend James A. McFadden S.T.lfl.. LLB. HIEF among our recollections of high school days will be happy memories of His Excellency, Bishop James A. McFadden. We of the class of 1953 who knew him and who thoroughly enjoyed his friendlyk visits to his beloved Ursuline High School can never forget his goodness and his kindness and his thoughtfulness. I Our dear friend has gone to his eternal reward. On Sunday after- noon, November 16, 1952, the great bell of the Cathedral tolled out the sad tidings that a loved one had gone from our midst. Youngstown had lost a dearly-loved leader, Bishop McFadden was dead. But somehow for us hereat Ursuline, our beloved Bishop lives on. For he has given us his unshakable spirit, his kindly example-his watchword: In all things charity. And so he will live on forever in the memories and in the hearts of the class of 1953.
