Our devotion to him may well be explained as the reliex of his genuine kindness. His is a great heart. He loves his own, and his own return the love of their dear Father. At our opening Mass . . . Christmas . . .Baccalaureate . . . Graduation . . . Bishop McFadden was there to guarantee pleasant memories for us. His visits, though all too few of late, provide bright spots in our book of memories. He has shown us the way to Catholic living by emphasizing the spiritual and eternal. Wfalsh, will be that of an exceptional person, possessed of that all- too-rare combination, a kindly, genial personality and a shrewd, sharp mind. He represents for us Catholic leadership of first rank. As Coadjutor, Bishop Walsh has done amazingly line work, as a glance at the record will prove-work that has won for him immense respect and admiration.
