A Tribute to the Ursuline Auxiliary It is indeed, a great pleasure to pay tribute to The Ursuline Auxiliary, our Mothers and Friends. The greatest gifts of all the earth are those that We may have but for the taking. The glory of the dawn, the rising of the sun, we may enjoy without a price. The beauty of the landscape,-of the woods, the streams, the hills, the plains, and setting sun, are ours but for the look- ing. God gives all these to us, and then renews each day His gifts. We accept them all with little thought of gratitude,-these priceless gifts. But these are things that we must share in common-to each his share, some more, some less, according as his heart or mind responds. Then God does more. He gives to each of us a personal gift, a gift for each alone. He gives to every person of earth-a Mother. What gift of God can compare to this ! What joy, what love, what sweet consoling bliss Is equal to the touch of Mother's hand? There's not enough of gold in all the earth, There's not enough of gems of priceless worth, To equal just the touch of Mother's hand. When at the end, if life be cruel or kind, We pray Thee God somewhere we'll find The sweet caress of Mother's gentle hand. Ursuline Boasts Many Friends But None Truer Than the Members of Ursuline Auxiliary The Ursuline Auxiliary is one of the most active organizations connected with Ursuline Academy. Under the direction of its capable officers, Mrs. Frank Weisenmiller, president, Mrs. Austin Cooke, vice president, Mrs. George Schaaf, treasurer, and Mrs. Paul Stein, secretary, the association has had a very successful year. The Ursuline Auxiliary meets every month to plan and arrange for the various social functions of the school and to raise funds to assist Ursuline Academy. The Auxiliary consists of the Mothers of the students attending Ursuline Academy. The faculty and student body are most grateful to the Auxiliary who so willingly and generously give their time to Ursuline girls. May God bless each and every dear member of the Ursuline Auxiliary for all the many things they have done not only this year but since its organization seven years ago.
