Class Histor Oh, do you not remember, classmates all, classmates dear, That first day, 'twas September, gathering here, gathering here? We were on the steps before, Yes, before anyone opened the door. We shall do it never more, Classmates dear. Oh, do you not recall, classmates brave, classmates fond, How we hurried through the hall, where beyond, just beyond Were the rooms where knowledge waited? How We hopped and skipped and skated, So delighted, so elated, Classmates dear. Can you see each teacher's face, classmates fine, classmates mine, As we dignified the place where we shine-now we shine? Heard their whispered, All is well, Here's material, you can tell Where intelligence doth dwell, Classmates dear. Oh, can you vision still, classmates fair, classmates sweet, How we sought our minds to fill, sought to greet and complete Nourishment for our mentality, Put aside each triviality, So made wisdom a reality, Classmates dear. Dost recall how higher and higher, classmates bright, classmates We did each and all aspire to climb up learning's stair? , Nothing could our progress stop, Though 'twere feared our heads would pop, Till today we're at the top, Classmates dear. As we're leaving all behind, classmates dear, can't you see Fortune has been wondrous kind, writing our history? If our friends would like to read We'1l give details, date by date, But the hour perhaps grows late, Classmates dear. A Senior I'8.I'8

Class Prophecy Where is now the merry group That we knew long, long ago, Gathered round our Alma Mater, Full of hope and full of glow? Long we'Ve parted in that June time Of that great commencement day, They have scattered all and wandered, Some who gave our best orations, And were clever in debate, Have become our Congresswomen, And direct affairs of state. Some who wielded pen and pencil, Authors, artists, known to fame, Are a credit to our High School Whence their inspiration came. One a teacher of distinction, One a brilliant tennis star, One a record-breaker chemist, Others famous singers are, One a famous radio singer Moves us all to sobs and tears, One an architect illustrious, Two are clever basketeers. Some there are who turned to drama, And are starring on the stage, Some as playwrights won distinction far away In our brilliant day and age. Some have gone to the convent, Others trained nurses all the day. One One One One One got married to a title, acquired a millionaire, became a social leader, designs such pictures rare, became a great explorer, Another one a great inventor. Where is now that merry party That we knew long, long ago, Gathered round ot r Alma Mater, Full of youthful hope and glow. Hopes have blossomed, Oh, so niccly. In achievements and careers, We are happy as we ponder Looking back across the years.
