ca might n Qld Scan cf-antonio The first l'Night in Old San Antonio was staged by the S. A. Conservation Society shortly after World War ll. lt grew from this small bazaar-type, ladies club affair to one ofthe most popular Fiesta Week happenings that had to be spread over the entire week. At NIOSA people ex- perience what holiday street life was like between 70 and 170 years ago. La Villitais walks are lined with booths decorated with colored lights, paper roses and costumed people. Everywhere is music: Spanish songs by serenaders in big sombreros, Remember waltzes and polkas by German bands, and of course, country 81 western for all those Ursuline hillbillies. lt's quite crowded at NIOSA alright, but always the crowd grins. Who can help it with all those aromas in the air, the good food, the good music, and the good company? NIOSA has it all. No one can resist having a good time!! . You can get a caricature done.
