MISSION D Y The annual Mission Day held February 2, proved to be even more fun and profitahle than last year's. All Mis- sion ueen candidates and advisory projects brought in a tota of over 383600. The money earned will aid the poor people who the San Antonio missions ,provide for. he t eme this year was A World of .... Freshman advisory 15 earned first place for their Hdiscothequen. Senior advisory 19 rated second with their western saloon and advisory 3 and 10 tied for third lace with their 'L0ld McDonald Farmi' and World of Entertain- mentw. The bi est money-maker was Wfhe World of the Mafia , Mr. gisinskfs advisory. Lanell Mangold was named Mission Queen. Karen Laake was the second mn- ner-u , followed hy Donna Meyer as third runner-up. The tliree together made over 910000. Second runner-up for Mission Queen, Karen Laake holds lst place trophy for advisory 15.
