Student eouncil The 1976-1977 Student Council had an interesting year. Since the Constitution was completed, the group could finally move on to different matters concerning the student body. Their workshop, held in Castroville, was devoted to solving school problems and promoting school spirit. It was this weekend that the Awareness Days idea was born. Among other ideas were the Mock election, Spirit Week, promoting school spirit and ways to clean the cafeteria. The group was successful on many of their ideas and the year seemed to be a profitable one. Experience, however, was the gr0up's greatest teacher, and the more we experience, the more we can correct our mistakes. We had spirit, yes we did.
