ECO D NNUAL BA KETBALL TOURNAMENT The Athletic Department of Ursuline held their second annual basketball tournament on Dec. 3-4. Teams from the surrounding high schools were in- vited to attend. Playing time began at 2:00 on Friday with Ursuline challenging Healy Mur- phy. Competition continued through Friday and ended Saturday night with the championship given to Edgewood High School. Randolph High School placed second and our Rebels came in a well-deserved third. Many hours are spent practicing, making all the signs and preparing pep rallies. Our cheerleaders attended a workshop sponsored by the Na- tional Cheerleader Association, and was given three superior ratings, a spirit stick, and a superstar ribbon.
