It all started four years ago ... when we came to Ursinus not knowing what to expect. What we found was both good and bad. We kept each other sane with freshman hull sessions. Our problems ranged from rules to Wismer. The middle years were full of frustration ... for vve knew Ursinus needed some jpdating. The administration felt a fresh spirit vith a new, progressive president. The faculty aided our cause and there was hope that change would come. 6 I Senior year brought change ... .. and the campus rocked. Open dorms and beer on campus added to our extracurriculiar activities. Exams were finally before Christmas and the food at Wismer even started to taste better. This was what we were waiting for and we had no trouble adjusting to the changes. 9 And, as the year rolled on ... we enjoyed ourselves. Senior year was our time. The problem seemed to hr that too many victories were lost in the last few minutes of play. Ursinus never seemed to got that lucky break. Things finally fell into place during the Dickinson game as the Bears scored their first win of the season. Combining the skill and experience of upperclassmen with the energy of some talented newcomers, the football team played an impressive game.
