for the home economic classes. This department had been added to the curriculum in 19L9. The new kitchen made possible the school lunch program which has proved so beneficial to both pupils and teachers. The R-6 faculty in 1952 had ten full-time teachers and a part-time 11111510 1I1StI'k1CtOI' . The next curriculum addition was an industrial arts department in 1945-1946. This work has become very popular with the boys of the school. At present, the Urich faculty consists of nine full-time teachers and three part-time teachers. There are one hundred twenty-five elementary and seventy-one high school pupils. Our school is classed an WA' school under the Missouri School Classification. In addition to the faculty and the board of education, we have three bus drivers, two cooks, and our custodian--each contributing in his way to the success of our school.
