“ , History of the U1-ion School District In 1885 when the town of Urich was laid out, this school district belonged to the Old Urich or Enterprise District. When it became necessary was a strip of land six miles north side of Grand River. The first three diregtgrs were: Dr. John Powers, T. W. Wells, and fr. s. Littiejonn. In l887, bonds for Ql2OO were voted to build a school house.
