I URBAN ECHO LIRBANDALE HIGH SCHOOL Urbandale Iowa DEDICATION The senior class of Urbandale proudly dedicates its first volume of the Urban Echo to a teacher and sponsor whose service deserves our recognition. In 1941 Mrs. Wilcox first came to Urvandale where she has served in the Mathematics, English and Science departments. She was acting principal for six years and has served many years as either the junior or senior classes sponsor. We wish to thank Willie for her patience and understanding at- tributes. It is with this dedication, we of the senior class wish to show our admiration and respect to a teacher who has always opened her home and her heart to the students. 2 ADMI I TRATIO x I . Motorists everywhere are guided to theirdestination by the signs along the roads. Farmer motorists across the cornbelt pay par- ticular attention to special signs that point the way to bigger corn crops. These signs mark fields of specific Pioneer hy- brids - hybrids that mean fuller cribs in the fall. Yes, the big white Pioneer signs guide thousands of farmers to more profit- able corn yields.
