Languages Urbana High is iustly proud of its language de- partment. Already engaged in the teaching of four years of English, two of Spanish and Latin, the department expanded in i956-57 to include a third year of Latin for those who wish to pre- pare for the teaching of the languages or for professions requiring advanced language study. Miss Kollmeyer, dean of UHS language teachers, cheerful, pa- tient, and diligent in her work, her mornings are devoted to Latin I and Il, her afternoons to Library administration.
