An education at Urbana High School, as any student will agree, is more than reading through a stztclz of text-books. All of the extra-curricular activities-Sports, both intra- mural and varsityg playsg dan- cesg organizations that cover almost every possible student interestg all offer a wonderful opportunity and a field of ed- ucation as much a part of sec- ondary school learning now- adays as the long hours spent in the classroom, Yes, high school days are a wonderful experience, never to be forgotten, but cherished and remembered throughout life. Yet, as time passes mem- ories do fade, so we have in this book striven to capture and hold for ever the high spots of a school year. As a background for this story we have used the golden days of the '20's, with the hope that it may bring back to our parents and friends fond memories and recollections such as we may have thirty years hence of happy high school days. if l
