id. The Hillclimber editors this year continued the practice of printing the school news in the Urbana Daily Citizen every Wednesday. Although this arrangement has not been entirely satisfactory, it is hoped that the difficulties can be ironed out, and, after all, this year's Hillclimber has been termed the best yet. The editors are: Nancy Thomson, Sue Dillon, Jo Dempsey, Betty Austin, Mr. Gauvey, Carl Mihaly, Pat Maxson. HILLCLIMBER 1-4 K : i - 1, f lr Q 'Q l V V -' ' 1... Q L ' 'a'2.b?f.fQ Af It r xi' 4

S-VMI The space allotted here will not allow a glowing tribute to the many students who gave generously of their spare time in order that the 1953 TOWER might be produced. There are some, however, who must be mention- ed herez Bob Neer, who planned and supervised the entire productiong Al Schafer and Dave Dowds who engineered the intense advertising campaign which produced the greater revenue and made this bigger TOWER possible. In addition to the Editor and Business Managers, there were many others who gave countless hours of diligent help, working often into the wee hours of the morningg Art Editor Carol Woodruff, Ro- berta Walters, Sue Stickney and Mr. Dickman are some of these who did more than their share. The TOWER was produced by photo -lithography by the Taylor Yearbook Company of Dallas, Texas. We have enjoyed working with the com- pany and are grateful to Mr. John Welles, Taylor representative for his co-operation and guidance. --E. R. S. 'h-murmur ' xwgn-ff A N sen ami '1xr-swd-is'
