In athletics also the Seniors excelled, making up almost entirely the first-string-teams in football and basketball. And the whole school was thrilled with six Senior football players and two Seniors on the basketball team were selected for the All -CBL teams. Another quality of which this year's class had ample supply was ingenuity. One had only to watch their various programs throughout the year: the political rallies and the election-day project, their several assemblies, and, of course, Class Day-just to have seen it is evidence. And last, these Seniors best exemplified that quality which characterizes all upperclassmen, but which is for Seniors the crowning quality of all---disdain of all underclassmen. WILLIAM I.
