M4 94'0 4f5 45507 fadlf of die 44:94 464406 STUDENT COUNCIL Pursuing a busy schedule through the year under the advisorship of Mr. Simpson and the presiden- cy of Bob Neer, Student Council contributed greatly to the smooth functioning of the high school program. Some of the projects included: revision of the Hillclimber Handbook, opera- tion of the concession stand at football games for the benefit of the general fund, providing containers for refuse about the campus, assist- ance with the solving of the parking problem, putting on the Sweetheart Dance, and the Home- coming dance, and, in general, solving many of the problems of the school year. Legislatively, the council concerned itself with new regulations governing cheerleading and homecoming activi- ties, the possibility of a point system limiting extracurricular activities. President Gary Cook, Vice President John Blair, Secretary Rillis Johnson and Treasurer Lois Pfaff headed the organiza- tion. Top social function of the year was the initiation of the new members on January 20. Under the control of Mr. Dickman, club sponsor, Al Schafer and Dave Dowds concocted the diabolical gadgets, gimmicks, and pills that will make the event long remembered. HOWARD SUPPLY COMPANY
