“Cla s fix to y The senior class of 'Shu has qulte a hi tory of bright little scholars starting on the long hard journey to Victory The first year started out with seventeen wet-eyed children Starting school for the first time were: Donald Dunklee, Larry Grlmm, Harry Hawley, Marvin Kisling, Shirley Bre m, Diane Case, Ruth Edaburn, Helen Fry, Rena Mae Grim , Ddbres Hepker, Mary Hurst, Frances Lockhart, Patricla Ra sey, Patty Richart, Viola Rlck, Patrlcia Roll, and Roger Close Second grade finds a few have dropped by the wayside leaving only n1ne old classmates They are Shlrley Brehm, Heler Fry, Harry Hawley, Delores Hepker, Mary Hurst, Frances Lockhart, Patsy Ramsey, Pat Holl, and Diane Case Three new ones are added Albert Hepker, Curtis Floyd, and Lyle Fry No record was left for third and fourth grades, At the beginning of the flfth year, consolidation brought 1n new students, w1th some left behind and some dropping down from above The class of eighteen includes as follows: Marcella Brehm, Diane Case, Delor s Hepker, Mary Hurst, Eelva Ki511HE, Frances Lockhart, Llleen Lovell, Frances Parbs, Barbara Ramsey, K1taZieser, Halter Cook, Jon Felker, Curtls Floyd Richard Kelty, Keith Rick, Lyle Ternnus, Lyle Fry and Kenneth Gibson Sllth grade finds us with twenty new students: they are Lynn Fulmer, Anthony and Fdward Michael, Richard Yerkes, Junlor Troxel, Evelyn Ferguson, Helen Mc Neal, and Kay Clendenen W have dropped two students Keith Rick and Walter Cook Seventh grade sees 1 w4th twenty three member New ones are Billy La Velle, Don Matteson, and Delores Dorman Curtis Floyd and Junior Troxel have moved away Eighth grade finds us with twenty members We have added Just one new member, Leroy Phelps, Those that dropped were Kenneth Glbson, Bllly La Velle, Ma Hurst and D e C On beginnlng of high school twenty one freshmen are on e reglster ose who have strug gled through thls far are Ma cella Brehm, Kay Clendenen, Delores norman, Jon Felker, Lyle rrv, Lynn Fulmer, Delores Hepker, Hlchard Kelty, Eelva K1S11Hg, Howard Klsllng, Elleen Lovell, Don Matteson, Helen Mc Neal, Edward M1chael, Frances Parbs, Leroy Phelps, Barbara Ramsey, Jenr1e Sackett, Richard Yerkes, Rlta Zleser, and Lorna Wolfe The sophomore year finds that we have lost four me bers, they re H1chard Yerkes, Leroy Phelps, Belva Kisllng, and Helen Mc Neal Janet Ioeller ca e to us from Vlnton, and Shlrley Junior year begins us with the loss of Howard Kisling, Fdward M1crael, and Ewleen Lovell Delores Dorman also left before the year was over we a1ned dern tta Boyles, who moved here from Cen+er P01Ht Ne are now at the end of our hlgh school career and +1e graduatlng class of Shu TS Janet Moeller, Marcella Drehm, Lyle Fry, Jennie sackett, Lorna Wolfe, Qarbara F msev, H1ta Zie er, RlCh8Td Kelty, Lynn Fulmer, Florence Balley, D 1rlev F1 belkorn, Don Matteson, Kay Cl ndenen, Delores hepker, Frances Parbs, Bernltta Bovles, and Jor relker If fou haven't 'ost track of lt all, ou w1ll r nember t at HSpeedH Uepker 1S the only one 1U this cla s who proere ed all the wax through twelve years of school step by step, and wltnes ed thm con tart chante of personnel 0 ' s . . .
