He profits most who serves bestn Mr. Frederick Fleeman For 43 years Mr. Frederick Fleeman taught math and chemistry courses at USHS. During that time he had over 4800 students. Many students and their parents will always remember Mr. Fleeman as their teacher and educator. Mr. Fleeman's philosophy of teaching written by him many years ago: I think I chose one of the most important tasks in our country, that being the devoting of my life to an ideal- teaching. I taught to help the present welfare of America because Edu- cation is one of the greatest defenses against the threats to our free country. Therefore, the future of each one of my students in my classes depended on how well I did my teaching. In my classes I tried to plant and then I watched grow the knowledge of my fields. In the hearts of my students, I tried to inspire the standards of public service by lifting them to new and higher levels by giving them the principles that Americans firmly believe in. My greatest goal was to inspire love of home and country, and my greatest reward was watching students mature.
