Today We F ollowg Tomorrow We Lead Well, we finally made it! It seemed those four years were the longest part of our lives, but actually now they seem the shortest. Remember our first day as freshman? We had the frustration of find- ing our classes, but at the same time we saw the doors of opportunity opening to us. Then before we knew it, we were soph- omores. Our activities broadened - tak- ing part in the Hi-Y, Hi-Teens Christmas Dance, singing and serving for the prom, trying out for the musical High Button Shoes and reaching that age of sixteen entitling us to our driving permits. Soon we were ordering and purchasing our class rings. Our dramatic abilities were present- ed in our junior class play, The Spiral Staircase. Working in the concession stands Friday nights and cleaning the field the morning after made possible our prom. Remember the panic as we worked down to the last minute? But we made it and our theme of Camelot was made the best ever. Senior pictures, ordering announcements, measurements for caps and gowns made us realize we were at the top. As we look back today, those days of yesterday started the mold for our future as teachers, nurses, farmers, engineers and the many other numerous professions. 1971 Class Officers: QSEATEDJ: Secretary, Barb Book, President, Ned Ellisg QSTANDINGJ: Treasur er, Pat Vent, Vice-President, Tom Davidson. i f I' we 0 'HFPNQ Richard Denita Dorothy Arter Bahr Baker 'U 'TN1 Maria Philip Bardon Beidelschies 'US ,- Kenneth Linda Michael Bell Bennett Bess
