Dfrud Underhill S . L ATOM LIENIGE SENIOR CLASS PLAY On the evening of April 15, the seniors presented their class play, The Girl in the Rain, under the direction of Mr. Kenneth Kohn. The entire action of the play took place in the sitting room of the fashionable suburban residence of Alicia Underhill. Her son David arrived 'home after a whirlwind courtship of his new Hancee, Natalie Price. In the driveway he found an unconscious, rain-soaked girl who, after regaining consciousness, appeared to have amnesia. During the time that Natalie and Eve , as she was temporarily called, were staying with the Underhills, there were several unusual occurrences. Included in these events was the murder of Thomas. the butler. Since everyone believed that Eve was pretending to have amnesia, she was immediately accused. The search for a suspect in another murder case only tended to make the plot more complicated. The play was concluded with an unsuspected turn of events, which cleared the innocent and made the true murderer evident.
