CLASS HISTORY This was the first Freshman class in 'the new jointure, and our class membership had grown. We learned to co-operate with our new classmates in planning class activities. Proudly we displayed our emblems which had been cleverly designed. Added impetus was given to class undertakings by energetic students wishing to show their pride in our class. Receiving our hats, we realized that our high school days were enjoyable. We wore these hats on Sophomore Day. Our Sophomore Dance, held on the same day, was lauded as a success by all who attended. Then came our Junior Year. Did you notice how all the juniors placed added attention upon their hands at the beginning of the year? They wanted to display the new class rings they had received. Deco- rations for our Junior Prom, 'Stairway to the Stars, were praised throughout the week following the dance. Our play, entitled Adam's Evening, was said to be the very best Junior Play in years. This year the focus was on Commencement! Frantic efTorts were energetically expended as we tried to cram everything that we were learning into some niche of our minds. The hams got a last minute opportunity to display their acting talent in our play, Meet Me in St. Louis. Our Senior Prom, Aloha, found us dancing dreamily amid the flowers and palm trees of a Hawaiian garden. Near the end of the year, as pressures increased, we realized that here had been four years-perhaps the four most valuable years of our lives. Twenty-three
