CLASS HISTORY In September 194-8, our class assembled in Mr. Evans' room to begin our four years of high school. By the end of the year four of our number had left us. September 1949 found twenty-seven of us ready to continue our education in the tenth grade. At this time we were happy to add Gene Fasnacht to our class. We elected Carl Wolgemuth, presidentg Lloyd Greiner, vice-presidentg Marlene Spence, secretaryg and Charles Carson, treasurer. In the spring we all enjoyed a skating party. September 1950 found twenty-five students on the threshold of their junior year. We chose Lloyd Greiner to head the class with Patsy Hawthorne as vice-president, Marlene Spence as secretary, and Glenn Weaver as treasurer. We selected our class rings, jackets, sweaters, and pennants, and received them in time for Christmas. In March we presented our highly successful play, Quit Your Kiddingf, under the direction of Mrs. Lilley. Later in the semester we held our Junior Prom. In September 1951 twenty of us met in Mrs. Herbert's room to start our last year in high school. We again elected Lloyd Greiner, presidentg Patsy Hawthorne, vice-presidentg Marlene Spence, secretaryg and Glenn Weaver, treasurer. In November we presented our senior play, Thank Your Lucky Stars, directed by Mrs. Landis. April 8, 9, and 10 found us enjoying an educational trip to Washington, D. C. Our baccalaureate services were held on May 18, and commencement exercises on May 28. Thus ended the memorabyler school days of the class of ,52. f . .V . .
