Wessaye gram life jjrzkzcijoaf 5 5. ' -can-. Many former Bingham High Students will undoubtedly view with regret the passing of Bing- ham High. Few, however, would deny the need for more adequate facilities and a broader ed- ucational program for the students of the area. It is our sincere hope that this year's senior class and all alumni of old Bingham High will consider themselves a part of the New District High School. It should be a source of pleasure for you to view these new facilities and to watch and assist in the formulation of the program. It should be a source of pride for you as citizens and parents to have had a part or to take part in this transition from the past. Much needs to be done to make the most effective use of our new facilities. Students, teachers, parents and alumni should keep informed of and may be asked to assist in the formu- lation of policy and the building of the program. As students, you should be concerned with taking the greatest advantage of the facilities and program and with taking a more responsible attitude toward helping make your school a better place in which to learn. Our alumni and parents should strive to inform themselves of the factors that make a strong school and through encouragement and support bring them into being. Your memories of Bingham High will be touched with nostalgia and rightly so. By re- taining the best traditions of the past and building new traditions in the present let's make an interesting blend for the future memories.
