Out front in the slugging campaign were John Malloy . 434, Dick Atwood ,400, and Jimmie West . 323. In the final game John Malloy belted a grand slam homer over the left-field fence in Solon driving in four runs and insuring Bingham with a vic- tory and the championship. Smith, G. Beane. KNEELING: I. Moore, Mgr. 5 C. Beane, M. Leavitt, Co-Captainsg R. Cool, Mgr. The Bingham Cavalettes have put themselves in second place this season. Although the girls did all of the actual playing, the victories would not have been possible without the excellent coaching of Mr. Ryder. On behalf of the team, Carol, Cgach Ryder, Mary I wish to express our sincere thanks. We are losing two fine players this season, Mary Leavitt and Carol Beane. We have some very promising players in the Freshman class, who will be here next season when we will be playing in our new gym. Suzanne Sterling and Kathy Belanger represented us at the All-Star Game. It was the second time for Sue. She was high scorer for the season with 212 points in 17 games. Barb Pullen, 147 points and Sharon Smith, 117 points also helped us to have such a good season. We hope that next season we can bring home the trophy to help decorate the new trophy case in the new school. The Bingham average was 36.7 points per game and the opponents average was 27. 6 points per game. --Ruth Cool
