Third row: G. Cates, L. Fournier, F. Merrill, D. Mazerolle, G. Rollins, S. Read, A. Stevens, B. Garland, P. Levasseur, J. Beane, R. Martin, W. Steward. The Freshman Class got under way this year with 46 members, but we have since lost three and gained one. At our first class meeting the following were elected officers. President -------------- WILLIAM SHAW Vice President - - - - -LAWRENCE MALLOY Secretary - - - - - - NANCY BUSHEY Treasurer -------------- MONA McKAY Student Council Member ------ STEPHEN READ The class decided to choose seven students besides the class officers to attend to the business and activities of the class. They are: Carol Moore, Ronda Carl, Connie Carl, Carline Lawery- son, Bruce Garland, Frank Merril, and David Begin. We sponsored the Harvest Dance and got a good crowd. Proceeds were approximately S60 from tickets and refreshments. A door prize was donated by Carline Laweryson, and the music was furnished by Rodney Kershner and his dance band. They were tops! Freshmen that took part in the floor show were Frances Owens, Ronda Carl, and Jimmy Dionne. With Mr. Matheson's help we put out a paper, 'The Flash, from which we made 32. 10. We should like to thank Mr. Matheson for all he has done for us this year to help our class. Nancy Bushey '62 Secretary
