For money-making this year the Junior Class sold refreshments at the track meet and had the profit from the pencil machine. We have plans for other activities later this year. We have only seventeen members in our class now compared with twenty-three last year. We have lost Ellen Moore, Pauline Foster, Cedric Suout, Dale Laweryson, Douglas Cahill, and Lester Atwood. The Class of 1957 -58 started the year off with twenty-six members, but after a few weeks of school Una Cyr left us. Two new members of our class this year are Gloria Shaw and William Webb. We are vay glad to have them with us, as they are a welcome addition to- our class. The first and most important event of the school year was the election of the following of- ficers: President --------------- - - - WILLIAM WEBB Vice President - - - - - CRAIG HAMLIN Secretary ---- - - NANCY BUMPUS Treasurer ---- - - GLORIA SHAW Student Council ----------- - - - LINDA CHASSE GARY TIBBETTS Our annual fall dance was held October 25, 1957, in the form of a Sock 1-lop. A good time was had by all. A profit of approximately 330 was brought in. A food sale was held December 21, 1957, with 521. 60 as a clear profit. Plans are being made at the present time for selling refreshments at the Baker Mountain Ski Tow. Our hopes are high for a good profit.
