MARCHING BAND Majorettes This year the marching band, under the direc- tion of Mr. Foust, has been occupied with foot- ball games and parades. During football season the band presents many formations and songs. Although the members frequently objected to the many hours of practice, they were glad in the endg because they performed well. These energetic girls help promote the school spirit which has helped our football and basketball teams to win their many games. 'Girls who wish to be cheerleaders enter tryouts in the spring for the Senior High and fall for the junior High. They are finally chosen by a committee of teachers and students. Senior High Cheerleaders began the basketball season with new uni- forms. They resemble military suits with red vestees and gold buttons and gray pleated skirts. Both squads should be compli- mented on their excellent cheering and their enthusiastic endeavor at our pep rallies. SUSAN SCHOFIELD, Captain Wet Cheers at Collegeville game.
