Golf is a new sport at Upper Dublin, The golf team must be given to Mr. Taddei who took the initiative to won 4 and lost 5 of their games. This is a very good re- start the boys in golf. McBride The Senior High Baseball Team had one of its best seasons last year. They won eleven games and lost four. Coach jones had a new assistant coach who helped to make the team as good as possible. Mr. McBride also took care of a Junior Varsity team which did fairly well also. Two of the outstanding 'players were the captains, Bob Field and Bob Webb, who led the team through tight spots with their base hits. Our team also had a few good pitchers, jim Coombs, Bob Jacobs, and Bob Shuttle- worth. They succeeded in keeping the opponents down to 45 runs in 15 games for an average of 3 runs per game. This year we hope to see more of the same outstand- ing plays from the returning members.
