The senior staff had many tasks in their project of picturing life at Upper Darby. They worked many long hours to put out a top-notch paper, one that has always been a winner in press competition. Every Friday students eagerly awaited their copies of the Acorn. They especially en joyed the antics of Bucksy. the comic strip created by Joe Trimble, art editor.
