The members of the Board of Educa- tion truly deserve applause for continued efforts in making the citizens of Upper Darby Township proud of their schools. Included in the Board's program are regular monthly meetings, led by the president. Dr. George G. Dilworth. who. because of his contributions in the past, was re-eiected in 1955 for a fifteenth term. At the present time, much en- deavor is being placed upon a project for the construction of a new junior high school, the final step in fulfilling the need caused by a rapid growth in popu- lation. Its completion, planned for the year 1957. will by no means bring an end to the work of the Board members, who are constantly seeking new areas for improvement.
