No Business . In staging the revival of To» Can’t TIt With Ton. the senior class produced one of the most sue- cesstul comedies ever presented at Upper Darby. Under the experienced guidance of Miss Frieda Reed and student director. Patricia Connaghan, the actors created many memorable scenes. The audience will long remember Kenneth Neffs “Eet steenks and Madeleine Alexander’s excellent portrayal of Penny Sycamore. Under the direction of Miss Maizie Weil and Suzanne Loux. stage manager, the stage crew constructed an appropriate set and unusual props. Anne Me El fresh and Dolores Temoyan directed the make up crew and Meredith Griesingcr and Sally Lyon headed the costume committee. Scenes from To» Cen t Ta e It With To» are pictured in order at the left and below. To the upper right on the opposite page is the play cast during rehearsal.

. . . Knocking on Your Front Door Members of the class of '55 started their first year on the hill by selling a total of 9400 dollars in magazine subscriptions. Stanley Bowers who copped highest honors sold a grand total of 50S dollars. Two other “ace salesmen, Richard Freunlick and Allison Gross, topped the 200 dollar mark. Crowell'Collier and Curtis publishing com- panies rewarded these students with a clock-radio, a wrist watch, and a portable radio. Homerooms 214 and 28 sold the most subscriptions to become the winning home- rooms of the campaign. Although the soph- omores fell short of their 10,000 dollar goal. Miss Chrisman and Mr. Locb, class advisers, agreed that the first class project was an overwhelming success. At the top are the super salesmen. Below them. Mr. Loeb shakes hands with Stanley Bowers.
