Evan Alderfer, Frank Altimore. and Joyce Mitchell aided leadoff man” Robert Tobey in earning a season's total of eighty-four points in three contests. The first meet yielded thirty-two points for the Purple and Gold. Although Upper Darby placed third behind Haverford and St. James in November, the team redeemed itself in December in a contest with Ridley Township and Upper Chichester.
