. . . Once in a While A top hit at UDHS. the Upi-Dah offered students an opportunity to display creative writing ability in both poetry and prose. The Upi-Dah also main- tained its traditional excellence in the two issues of the publication, both of which featured “Good Castlekeeping” as the theme. Every M nday afternoon staff members met to read, criticise, and select manuscripts for publica- tion. Editor-in-chief Nidra Poller worked hard and long with her assistants Irene Jacob and Harriet Jekofsky to produce a fine piece of work worthy to compete with the best high school magazines in the United States. Jean Failing, art editor, also contributed to the success of the Upi-Dah. Her work on the first issue was superb and the work she did in advertising forthcoming issues was also very well done.
