PDMiniSTfiflTICri When we shall have left our high school days behind, we shall remember Dr. James E. Nancarrow as an affable man, who, at our first meeting, turned our awe into amiable esteem. Like all Upper Darbyites, Dr. Nancarrow takes a keen interest in school sports, as well as in his beloved hunting and fishing. In what spare time he has, he enjoys general reading, but usually concentrates on statistics, having formerly headed the mathematics department at Williamsport High School before becoming principal of that school. His highest ambition is that the students who go out from Upper Darby will be' come good citizens, and to this end we shall earnestly strive. DR. JAMES E. NANCARROW

CLASS PDVIStrS The Senior Class has found untiring workers in its advisers. Miss Nan Scott and Mr. William S. Kchl. For three years Miss Scott has faithfully watched over us. When we became Seniors, she found it necessary to give up most of her classes in the Commercial Department to devote her time to the problems of our class. Mr. Kchl became our adviser at the beginning of our Senior year, after Dr. Donald Robinson, our previous adviser, had left us. Taking over a class of five hundred and fifty with its varied problems has not been easy, but everyone agrees that Mr. Kchl has succeeded admirably. For their unceasing efforts in our behalf and for their willingness to help and advise us, we, the Class of 1946 say a sincere “Thank you!” to Miss Scott and Mr. Kchl. MR. WILLIAM S. KEHL
