John Diehl UR THREE years in Upper Darby High School would have been naught if it had not been for the thoughtful guidance and cooperation of Mr. john Diehl. His kindly advice has smoothed over many of the rough spots of our high school career. His bright smile, keen sense of humor, and lively spirit have enlivened our social events. We owe our many entertaining assemblies to his wise and intelligent selection. Through many years to come, there will remain with us the indelible picture of Mr. Diehl sauntering over to the microphone during assembly and with a perfectly expressionless face, delivering a lecture, cracking a joke, commending our efforts, and urging us on to new heights of scholarship, salesmanship, and service. Words cannot say how much he means to us, for he has made a lasting impression on our minds and hearts and we will never forget him and all he has done for us. So to you, our class adviser, we give our most sincere thanks.
