AVE we in our high school life ever really thought about the work that goes into making our school and school life what it is? Many things must be coordinated to do this and the corps of efficient secretaries deserve much of the credit. Every inquiry made is always answered with a smile. The secretaries have so many jobs that to tell them all would take pages hut we know the tremendous work that they are doing. HIS year as in other years, Upper Darby Senior High School has had student teachers from the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel Institute of Technology. Besides their practice teaching, student teachers render an invaluable service to the regular staff of instructors by doing innumerable jobs to aid them. From Drexel we had the Misses Claire Urmer and Pauline Riley. The University of Pennsylvania sent to us the Misses Jane Brant, Doris Combcr, Naomi Handelman, Rita Prescott, Phyllis Stark, Dorothy Day, Dolores Garbeil, Ruth Anne White, Edith Pearl, Dorothy Shipman, Anna Anson, Kathryn Blake, Elsie Klein, Miriam Sealfon, and Mrs. Elsa Adler.
