DR. JAMES E. NANCARROW Dr. Nancarrow talks to guests at his reception. PRINCIPAL N HIS first year as principal of the Upper Darby High School, Dr. James E. Nancarrow has been a most able leader. The problems which he faced were many and were complicated by such wartime ex' igencies as the shortageg of man power and material and also the special adjustments which had to be made. His solution of these problems and excellent judgment in the decisions which he gave have made our senior year more enjoyable. Although many of us have not had the opporf tunity of knowing Dr. Nancarrow personally, his everfpresent smile and affable manner and his conf sideration and interest in our plans and progress have been a constant inspiration to all of us. With his long experience as a public school ad' ministrator, we know that Dr. Nancarrow will conf tinue to have, in many years to come, the success and popularity which he enjoyed during this, his Hrst year at Upper Darby.
