7 C-?j1'0l0gUe How many times each day have you passed this deslc in the front corridor? A great many, no doubt. But have you ever stopped to consider for what this familiar obiect really stands. This simple deslc is the symbol of the thing our whole educational system is based on-information-and so we hope this 1937 Oalc may help you to truly appreciate the often seen but little thought of things that go to malce up our school life. 4bA c 7 elif 6. 7 -X , Q ' ' X A N xx

The heavy hand of advisership has not deprived Mr. Shenlc of his good-will and sense of humor, two qualities which have flavored our class activities and encouraged student response. He has consistently disregarded the three o'cloclc bell as an order to cease work and has employed the extra afternoon hours in tireless labor to put '37 on the top. No detail has been too unimportant to attend, no problem too dif- ficult to solve. The following pages will not only bring baclc to us associations with him, but we hope that in them Mr. Shenlc will find pleasant remembrances of the class for which he has done so much- 1937. cgzr ilneir unfiring egorfs on our lmelzauq we cleclicafe flnfa yeurlzoog fo our class advisers- Ofniss Cjfzralz Cgiclnarzfs and Ofnr. Qlayfon dznenk eclzcaiion . . . Miss Sarah l. Richards has also served our class with sincere devotion and utmost respon- sibility. When she was not acting as chief dieti- cian for the refreshments during the past toll or tending to all ticlcet sales, she was straightening out student problems and generally pushing the class farther ahead. ,lust because she is the smaller part of our advisership does not mean that she had no big ideas which always helped in putting the class activities over with a bang. Miss Richards has steadily done a great deal of fundamentally important worlc for which there was afterwards little applause, and we sincerely hope that the following pages will illuminate the lcaleidoscope of memories for her as adviser to the class of 1937.
